In the story of the Trojan War, the Greeks gave a giant wooden horse to their foes, the Trojans, ostensibly as a peace offering.

But when the Trojans dragged the horse inside their city walls, Greek soldiers slipped quietly out of the horse’s hollow belly and opened the city gates, allowing their compatriots to pour in and capture Troy.

At this year’s conference Dr Bruce Winter presents his study from 1 Corinthians in how the culture of the world has deceptively crept into the church, undermining the biblical principles that should be undergirding church life. It is so important to understand this phenomenon so that we are able to mount a biblical defence. Indeed, that is what the Daniel 2:44 conference is all about.

About Daniel 2:44

Daniel 2:44 provides a forum for the growing number of Christians in Australia who are committed to the prophetic truth of Daniel 2:44, that is, to see the Bible being applied to all of life; and becoming the textbook of our nation.

The conference is designed to draw together people of common interest so that they can be better informed and develop contacts which will prove beneficial in fulfilment of the work to which God has called them.

The Conference will be held from 24-26 August 2012 in Canberra, ACT.
